KTM Komuter

KTM Komuter is a commuter rail service offered by KTM Berhad.

 

History

It was introduced in 1995 to combat congestion in the Klang Valley metropolitan area as well as connecting Kuala Lumpur to neighbouring cities.

2010, 29 July: Batu Caves – Sentul route begins operation

2007, 21 April: Rawang – Tanjung Malim (shuttle) route begins operation

1995, 14 August: Rawang – Seremban and Sentul – Port Klang route begins operation

No fare information is made available to the public at this time.

 

Rolling stock

When KTM Komuter was first introduced, KTM Berhad uses KTM Class 81, KTM Class 82 and KTM Class 83 EMUs for the service.

Currently, all KTM Komuter services in Klang Valley area uses KTM Class 92.
